Another Hammer gone - RIP Amsterhammer (from ITBS)

A number of the old guard on here will remember Amsterhammer, was a lovely bloke and always took his time to come and meet any Hammers that ended up over there.

Remember a particularly amusing trip with him and Skerrit to the Den Haag friendly 15 years or so ago. But what goes on tour stays on tour.

Anyway, George’s battle with the bastard cancer came to an end today and he’s finally at peace.

Fair point, we will probably still be around then too despite defjam and Bank coming on and saying every year that the site probably won't be around for much longer.

I guess the WHO demographic is aging generally - a lot of old school boys on here. That doesn't explain why the fellas we are losing are almost all in their 40s... Imagine leaving this mortal coil with your last memory of WHU being (once again) just a total feckin train wreck.
